HARBOUR ISLAND is located 236 miles east of Miami and enjoys beautiful pink sand beaches and friendly local residents. The weather is always 5 – 10 degrees better than Miami—warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Sea breezes make it all the more comfortable.

SOUTH BAR CLUB is a non-profit association incorporated in 1978.

A four-mile taxi and boat ride from North Eleuthera Airport brings you to the South Bar dock. Our 117-acre property began as an estate a number of years ago. Today, the original Manor House and Dock House are used as club houses where members and guests may stay in comfortable rooms. In addition, there are cottages for members with

occupancy rights. The South Bar community jointly owns and shares the buildings, tennis courts and equipment.

Our style is casual—no ties, no jackets, no tipping, no cares. Willing tennis partners materialize at the drop of a hint. If you enjoy time to yourself, you can read all day or disappear into the bush.
